Software Support Analyst

As a Software Support Analyst, you'll use technical and problem-solving skills to keep operations smooth, deliver top-tier support, and resolve complex issues with internal teams.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Assist internal and external users via tickets and email with timely, accurate solutions.
  • Documentation: Log interactions, tickets, and solutions to support team efficiency.
  • Escalation Management: Handle escalated tickets and create problem records for resolution.
  • Proactive Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues early to avoid major incidents.
  • Customer Meetings: Meet regularly with customers to address and prioritize key concerns.
  • Engineering Collaboration: Report bugs and work with engineers while keeping customers updated.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in CS, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Knowledge of web services (HTTP, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST).
    • Skilled in Linux/Unix, scripting, automation, and security.
    • Experience with bug tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective problem-solving under pressure.
  • Clear verbal and written communication across all audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong task prioritization and SLA focus.
    • Collaborates well with teams and stakeholders.
    • Customer-focused with strong relationship skills.
    • Acts quickly and takes ownership of issues.

QA / Test Engineer - Intermediate

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and maintenance of automated test cases that assess software functionality and performance. You will work closely with senior peers to track technical issues and verify fixes. You will also be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the review of software requirements and specifications to develop an automated testing strategy for a product or release.
  • Develop the coding of reusable test functions or components.
  • Support and execute automated tests using multiple systems, platforms, environments, or browsers.
  • Develop the logging and tracking of defects, reporting of technical issues to development or product management teams, and verifying fixes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.
  • Share knowledge and act as a trusted mentor to junior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Quality Assurance Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in quality assurance engineering or related field.
  • Intermediate/developing professional expertise of all phases of the testing lifecycle, methodologies, and standards.
  • Complete work within guidelines set by your teammates to address moderate, well-scoped issues.
  • Proficiency in Ruby.
  • Go and MMock experience is a plus.
  • Collaborate with others and build internal and external working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative environment.
